CP is Dick, we have known each other for a long time. When I was a kid, my version was TTG's naughty kid!
A psychiatric nurse.
A lonely New Yorker.
He lived in a low-rent apartment in the Bronx and fell asleep to the sound of gunshots every night.
The mental hospital where he works is in a precarious state both in terms of funding and medical level. It is either close to bankruptcy or almost to death.
"I heard that the dean bought shares of Stark Industries." He heard his best friend say that day. My friend is the chief psychiatrist here. He suffered from depression because he stayed in this unfortunate hospital for too long. "I bought it too." The friend's face was filled with a hopeful smile, and his expectations for a better life rose along with the rise in Stark Industries' stock price.
"I hope I can get a little salary increase," he said. "Or I'll switch to Arkham." It was just a joke.
"There was a riot there not long ago. It was very dangerous."
"But the salary is high, and food and accommodation are included."
"It's true that the salary is high. But if I stay with those people, I might as well have a medical accident here. At least I won't die."
My friend also wanted to go to Arkham before, so that he would not have to commit suicide.
Soon after, Tony Stark disappeared.
After some time, Tony Stark came back and announced the closure of the weapons department.
Stark Industries stock price plummeted.
Shortly after my friend went bankrupt and jumped off a building, the hospital where he worked had a financial breakdown and he lost his job.
"That's good." He said from the rooftop, "At least you won't be considered a vagrant when you die."
He jumped on the top of the building.
Then a hole was made in the ground.
It's really sad. I can't just die casually, so why don't I still have to work hard to live?
Three months later, he still had not found a job. The reputation of the hospital he works for is too bad, so no one he likes would want to work with him. The rent is high, the commute is long, and the salary is very low.
It is better to live in vain than to live in vain, he thought, gritted his teeth, and submitted his resume to Arkham.
Three days later, he packed his bags and set out to work at Arkham Asylum.
"We sincerely welcome you to Arkham Asylum, Mr. Dylan Monk."
