We met in that restless era, and in that night of gunshots, you held up a piece of blue sky for me. From the moment I met you, I realized: There is no happiness in my life because something else took its place. The sword you dance is a protest against your fate, and the gun I hold is a shield to defend your back...
But at that moment, I realized that the falling of stars was both beautiful and painful. It cut across my heart and seemed to take something with it...
This poem is my response to you, my attachment.

Purpose: After reading about modern Chinese history and the Prohibition period in the United States, I wanted to give two cats a story of their own.
