I Picked up a Cat

[Everything may be changed based on inspiration before writing] I picked up an ordinary cat on my way to get off work. From that day on, I suddenly started to notice something strange. The dark path on my way to get off work was endless, and I heard the faint sound of high-heeled shoes behind me, and each beat coincided with my steps.
