In the magical rice flower town, there is a black kitten with the ability to see dead people. Every day you can hear some ghosts chattering about household matters. Although the cat doesn't understand much, it likes to listen to the stories told by humans.
By chance, the kitten discovered a ghost named Hagiwara Kenji. He was looking for his lost soul fragment. Because of the lack of soul, he lost a lot of memory, and even his name was forgotten for a long time.
Koneko decides to help Hagiwara.
While searching for soul fragments, it met Matsuda Jinpei who had the same experience... So the number of companions it traveled with increased!
