Preface
Today, July 7, 2005, I finally have time to sit down, calm down, and start writing my first real full-length novel - "Lovers on the Seine."
After finishing "Off-White Dress", many friends hoped that I could write about the stories around me, which is the so-called life of studying abroad. I haven't been writing, or to be more precise, I haven't been thinking about it. I'm not good at writing about life and people related to me, because I don't want to make too many comments about life and people related to me. I prefer to think about people and things that are far away from me, and imagine their lives and destiny. Sometimes, I have to admit that I unconsciously escape from reality and life.
I don't want to think about it because I don't want to feel heavy.
However, today, I decided to start thinking about the things around me and the so-called life of studying abroad. Many people have written about the life of studying abroad, and the life of studying abroad that I want to talk about is the kind of life that is rarely known, dark and lonely.
They may not have impressive academic achievements or rich material resources; with their wounded hearts and longing for a bright future, they left their homes and homes and traveled thousands of miles to the beautiful paradise on earth, Paris. They have their own unique loves, dreams and passions.
There were too many tears behind their success, and these tears turned into a Seine River that was extremely beautiful under the sun.
