It fell from the treetop and fell to the ground, a little distracted, and was stung by the raised surface roots. It is raining in the forest, dripping onto the blades of grass, the tree trunks, the stones, and its eyelashes. Most cats don't like water, but they live in the jungle and are destined to receive almost daily rain.
Most of its kin like to find a tree hole or run to a place near the top of a tree to take shelter from the rain. But when wandering in the rain forest, the largest so-called kin it saw only reached its front knees. Being so huge, it was no longer welcomed by any tree tops or tree holes. The tree tops would break, and the tree holes would be impossible to enter. It was hiding under a large leaf herbaceous plant. Of course, its whole body could not be covered, so its buttocks and tail were exposed.
A member of the same species passed by with a small langur in his mouth and waved his tail in greeting. It also flicked its tail in response, splashing water droplets and flying towards the opponent. But the same race didn't care, just like it didn't care about the rain, it was intoxicated with the joy of getting prey, shaking the water drops and running towards the destination.
This is very strange. Even though its body is many times larger than that of its kin, and its hair is infinitesimal, its kin still feel close to and identify with it. In fact, there are not that many creatures in the rainforest that are big enough for it to hunt, and it has used these same species as its food rations several times. But it understands why. It still exudes the scent of an ocelot. Whether dead or alive, it has a strong scent of ocelot. This can easily induce the close feelings of its stupid fellows. It no longer understands this genetically clouded behavior, but it can exploit it. It is also hungry, it rains, and the temperature drops. If it does not replenish energy and generate more heat, it will get sick and die.
It stood up and walked quietly. It no longer cared about the raindrops soaking into its long hair, but cared about whether its prey with a langur monkey in its mouth would notice it.
Then it leaned down, gathered strength, and took off.
The ocelot looked back.
