At the age of fourteen, Dugu Jialuo married Yang Jian, the eldest son of General Yang Zhong. Soon, his father was defeated and killed in a political battle, and the family fell into decline. She is low-key and courteous to the outside world, loving to her husband and wife at home, has ten children, and assists Yang Jian in his achievements. After the founding of the Sui Dynasty, the queen was canonized. She was "elegant and good at reading, and knowledgeable about the present and the past".
