Asker is a boy who lives in a seaside town and loves stories and fantasy. He has good friends who he can confide in and a family who care about him. It's just that now they all have their own dilemmas, and these can't be solved just through heart-to-heart talks or adventures. When Asker escaped towards the fantasy world, he discovered that fantasy things cannot solve the problems in human society. Gensokyo is not a simple and beautiful paradise. Even though the plot is not as happy and inspiring as a traditional fantasy story, it is essentially a story about a child's growth.
