Roy is a lamplighter living in a small town in Cyprus.
The town of Cyprus has been blessed by God, so the people in the town will not be disturbed by suffering.
In his mechanically repetitive life, Roy met many passers-by. They were all undead souls heading to the Pond of Destiny. Among them, Roy talked to many undead souls.
Many undead people described the beauty of the world to Roy.
"Have you never been to the human world?" Some of the undead exclaimed in surprise, "Then this is really your loss." Over and over again, Roy's expectations of going to the human world were getting higher and higher. He couldn't wait to see this place he had never seen before. However, he had been staying in the small town of Cyprus since he could remember. The town was surrounded by large rime forests, and the mayor also warned everyone not to leave the town.
Just when Roy thought his wish was about to come to nothing, a young man named Delocris broke into his life.
"I'm here to help you realize your wish," said the man named Delocris.
So, with the help of Delocles, Roy successfully came to the world.
Amidst the sudden incidents, the two people got to know each other better and better.
