Because the virus leaked and mutated from the M Country Research Institute, people called the virus the X-type mutated virus. Soon the virus began to spread rapidly. Many people were infected with the virus and turned into monsters. The infected people were called X-type mutant viruses. Only a handful of people escaped and gained certain powers. So they are called superpowers.
And all this is caused by someone who is obstructing it in order to make a war break out between country M and country C and profit from it.
