In the small county town in 2009, the summer night wind mixed with the smoke of fireworks blew warmly on people's faces. The children on the roadside were sweating, holding popsicles in their mouths, and running carelessly in the alley. The adults sat in groups on their own old benches, smiling and watching the children play while discussing what was happening in the small town.
