Some people say that love is giving without expecting anything in return. I strongly despise this kind of rhetoric. Therefore, the protagonist in the book is just like me. He would rather fight for reluctance or hurt and retaliate than let love become a victim of selfishness and a stepping stone to success.
Rational means serve emotional purposes, they are all contradictory, and they interpret love legends in their struggle; the fragility and compromise of human nature in the face of wealth and power, calculation and measurement are all so real, and therefore, they cannot and do not need to transcend, floating in the world, floating around you and me.
