A newly unearthed crested hairpin is displayed in the museum in Jincheng. The unearthed location is under the thousand-year-old osmanthus tree in Gouyi Valley.
A few years ago, someone accidentally discovered this tree and reported it to the country, "Another thousand-year-old osmanthus tree was found in Jincheng." This incident caused a sensation in the whole city. Experts determined that this tree was older than the osmanthus tree in Prince Shen's Mansion. When it was discovered, the branches were still tied with cloth and some small objects. After identification, these were cultural relics from a thousand years ago. For a time, Gouyi Valley was famous for its ancient trees, and tourists came and went.
A few years later, after several days of continuous storms, the tree fell down. When the staff were repairing the old tree, they found a small box containing the hairpin.
The crested hairpin with nine tails is among the cultural relics unearthed in Jincheng.
This has never been seen before, and some people speculate that this is related to Queen Cangyu of the Heavenly Committee.
It is rumored that Queen Cangyu was the wife of Emperor Mingxi Li Gengjin, but according to records, Emperor Mingxi did not have a queen, and the love poems written by Emperor Mingxi and his queen during his lifetime gave this matter a huge clue.
The crested hairpins lie quietly in the museum, telling their story.
"Shen Gengjin, let go. What's between you is a human life, and I've even lost my heart."
"The poor monk is so stupid, trying to change his destiny. Heaven's reincarnation. How much a person will lose and how many regrets he will have in this life is already determined."
"Thousand-year hegemony cannot tolerate soft-heartedness. Emperors in the world are most taboo about deep affection."
"In this case, Nan Yi sincerely wishes your majesty eternal blessings for generations to come."
"I respectfully wish your Majesty, long live, long live, long live"
"Nan Yi"
