The most interesting elements of the book "Ghost Blowing the Lamp" are not Feng Shui and ancient tombs (although these two are the core of the book), but Chinese history, geography and cultural archeology that I have almost no chance to come into contact with. Although Gui Chui Deng quoted Tibetan legends when describing his expedition to the Kunlun Mountains, when talking about Kunlun, it is impossible not to talk about the Queen Mother of the West. I was always very interested in that image buried deep in ancient legends, and then I looked for some related academic works. These include "Kunlun Mountain: Exploring the Ancient Kingdom of the West Queen" (Li Xiaowei), "The Ancient Land of the Western Frontier and Qiang and Tibetan Culture" (Li Wenshi), the paper "The Evolution of the Myth of the West Queen and the Form of Folk Culture" (Yan Hongyan), "Research on the Myth and Legend of the West Queen" (Zhang Qin), "Research on the Degradation of the Goddess" (Liu Qin) and several other documents. After reading it, I was deeply impressed by the mystery and breadth of ancient Chinese history. At the same time, I felt that archaeological works based on reality are not as boring as imagined, and the charm they contain is no less than that of various fantasy novels. So here I am using my thoughts after reading the book "Kunlun Mountains: Exploring the Ancient Country of the Queen Mother of the West" as a guide to talk about this one of the ancestors of Chinese civilization, the Queen Mother of the West, who runs through ancient and modern folk beliefs in China.

Big thanks to the author! Among so many articles I have read, this is the second article I like! I don't know how to express my love. Haha, if possible, can you buy the author a cup of milk tea?
Anyway, hard work!
Although this ending is a bit cruel, it was indeed a bit unexpected for me. Wonderful ending. Above, thanks.
