In the concept of the Han people, the ethnic groups outside the Khitan are similar to the Hu people, the Huns, the Mongols, and the Manchus. Some people believe that the orthodox country is the original dynasties and generations of the Han people, because it is the Han people who have preserved most of the documents recorded. In fact, the Liao Kingdom was founded fifty-three years earlier than the Song Dynasty.
Many scholars have affirmed that many customs and sentiments of the Liao and Jin eras have had a great influence on us.
It can be said that Jin only affected the northeastern region of China, but Liao was a vast territory that stretched from Japan and Korea in the east to Europe in the west. The territory borders the Pacific Ocean in the east; the upper reaches of the Irtysh River in the west; the outer Xing'an Mountains and Lake Baikal in the north; and the Yalu River and the Great Wall in the south.
During its rule, the Liao Dynasty built cities and towns within its vast jurisdiction, expanded ethnic exchanges, and developed economy and culture. This created local conditions for the later establishment of the Yuan Dynasty and the formation of a multi-ethnic country in my country, and established a solid foundation for the reunification of the motherland.
Yelu Dashi struggled and started a business under difficult conditions, led his troops in the Western Expedition, and created another new multi-ethnic dynasty with a vast territory in Central Asia. His name Yelu Dashi became a symbol of the Western Liao Dynasty. Many years after his absence, the Western Regions, Southern Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty still used the Dashi to refer to the Western Liao Dynasty.
