Coming soon: Chasing the Wife I Lost Myself and Living with an S-Rank Alpha
A reckless but devoted younger wolf-dog pursuer × a beautiful, resilient, gentle CEO, a sweet marriage-first, love-later story 😘
Yu Yi started his own business young and made the rich list while still in his twenties.
Starting at twenty, he sponsored several students and donated regularly to underprivileged schools every year.
He would occasionally visit an orphanage and play piano for the children.
His current husband, Huo Zhihan, was one of them.
Six years ago, Huo Zhihan was a handsome young man about the same height as Yu Yi.
Six years later, Huo Zhihan is extraordinarily good-looking, 1.9 meters tall, with a tight waist and a quiet manner. He’s even more intense in bed.
-
Yu Yi loves to smile. His eyes are always tender, and he looks at everyone with warmth and affection.
Thanks to his face and his sharp mind, Yu Yi has never taken a wrong turn in business. His competitors, fooled by his appearance, always end up kicking themselves.
He has countless admirers but has never been in a relationship. He never imagined he’d skip every other step and go straight to the altar.
The good news: he can finally stop worrying about being pressured to marry.
The bad news: the one who proposed was the wolf-dog he sponsored, who was rumored to be homophobic.
Yu Yi couldn’t understand why Huo Zhihan insisted on marrying him.
He tried to put it gently: “You don’t have to do this to repay me.”
Huo Zhihan gazed at him intently. “It’s not about repaying you.”
Huo Zhihan said, “Just think of it as granting my wish.”
-
Yu Yi had never thought of the boy he’d watched grow up that way, and after they married, he planned for them to sleep in separate rooms.
But he felt that Huo Zhihan had become a different person after the wedding.
For starters, the chance that Huo Zhihan was homophobic was basically zero.
No straight man who wasn’t into men would be so eager to cuddle up to another man.
Huo Zhihan was also impossibly good to him, always putting him first, looking after his daily needs and helping him work through his troubles.
Yu Yi gradually began to think that married life like this wasn’t so bad after all.
Sometimes Huo Zhihan wasn’t quite so obedient, gradually pushing the boundaries and becoming domineering and overbearing. Yu Yi had no choice but to put on his big-brother act and send him to the guest room to think things over.
Countless nights, Huo Zhihan would knock on Yu Yi’s door again, hold him against the headboard, and ask with a forlorn look:
“Am I not satisfying you?
“If you’re not satisfied, I’ll keep going until you are, okay?”
-
Everyone at Yu Yi’s company knew their boss had married a poor college student.
Then one day, they saw a dazzling new singer on TV, whose debut single had sold over a hundred million copies and who had swept the major music charts in less than a month.
The handsome, unapproachable face on the screen was unmistakably that of Yu Yi’s unruly college-student husband.
Within a month of his debut, Huo Zhihan had captured everyone’s attention with both his talent and his looks.
A variety show reached out and tentatively invited him to join a new dating show.
Huo Zhihan casually turned the diamond ring on his left ring finger and said softly, “I don’t do dating shows.”
The production team had expected that answer and was about to leave when Huo Zhihan chuckled. “If I did one, it should be a marriage show.”
The next day, someone teased Yu Yi: “I heard President Yu is going on a marriage show?”
Yu Yi just smiled, leaning back in his chair as he discreetly rubbed his lower back.
He definitely wasn’t going on any marriage show. A few days ago, he’d gone to a banquet and Huo Zhihan had kept him in bed for two days.
His back still hurt.
○ An unruly music student × a gentle CEO, six years younger, but the younger one dotes on his big brother. This is important!
○ First love for both, strictly one-on-one, sweet!
○ My take on marriage first, love later, with one person always falling first
○ A tiny bit of showbiz, but it’s not important

A storm brought Lu Yiting’s graduation trip to an abrupt end.
When he woke up, he was stranded in a small fishing village beside an unconscious man.
The villagers told him in a dialect he couldn’t understand that the two of them had been found clinging tightly to each other, so there was definitely something going on between them.
Lu Yiting went to great lengths to wake the man, hoping he could help clear up their relationship.
Once awake, the man stared at his face and spoke a string of words in a Hong Kong dialect that Lu Yiting couldn’t understand either.
He understood two of them.
“Wife.”
-
In the fishing village, Lu Yiting did little besides eat seafood and teach the man Mandarin.
Over 1.9 meters tall and standing like a mountain, the man followed him and babbled like a toddler learning to talk.
Lu Yiting taught him all kinds of everyday phrases, but could never get him to change the way he addressed him.
“My name isn’t Wife. It’s Yiting. Repeat after me.”
“Wife Yiting.”
Lu Yiting seriously suspected the man was faking it.
He tried all sorts of ways to test him, but the results disappointed him every time.
The man’s intelligence was clearly worlds apart from before. He was no longer the powerful, calculating figure Lu Yiting had secretly seen on the cruise ship.
He gave the man a new name: Lu Yitian.
-
Three months later, a helicopter landed in an open area of the fishing village and took the man away.
At the same time, a whole box of money was left in Lu Yiting’s room.
Lu Yiting gave all the money to the villagers who had taken him in, then set out for home alone.
He thought this memory would become a keepsake from his eighteenth birthday, one he would hold on to for a long time.
He still saw the man often, on TV, on magazine covers, and even on the labels of some expensive things he bought.
That Hong Kong-based company exported its goods overseas and reached every part of everyday life. It was practically everywhere.
A man over thirty spoke about his family before a microphone, mentioning a regret.
“Five years ago, I was married for a while. Unfortunately, my wife left me.”
Lu Yiting did the math. Back when they’d been stranded in the fishing village, the man had already been married.
He donated everything he’d bought.
Then one day, a storm swept through the city where he lived.
On his way home, drenched and disheveled, he saw the man appear as if from a dream.
The man held an umbrella over him.
“Come home with me, okay, Wife?” His pronunciation was still far from perfect.
-
Later.
Lu Yiting: “I never changed my name. Did you really have to look for me for five years?”
Lu Yitian: “My memory was wrong. I went to another country to look for you.”
Lu Yiting: ...
-Hong Kong flavor, the pursuer is seven years older
-An optimistic, innocent pursued × a powerful man who lost his memories and reverted to factory settings, the pursuer
-The pursuer really was married for a while five years ago. There wasn’t room to fit it all in the blurb, but he and the pursued got engaged in the fishing village ()
