A long time ago, after a war, the Taotie couple left behind a 5-year-old girl to prevent the war from happening and gave it to the remaining three families as a mythical beast, named Silk.
When Silk was 10 years old, three mythical beasts told her that she could find her parents, but their soul fragments had long been lost in the Three Realms, and she needed to work with something called the System to retrieve them. Silk's whereabouts have been unknown since that day.
