This is a medium-length novel that reflects modern officialdom. It tells the fragmentary history of a county during the important period of my country's reform and opening up. Comparing the two former county party secretaries, we can see that due to the completely different administrative concepts, methods and styles of the two, they have formed obviously different political forms and social features; taking the county's party affairs and government affairs operations as the main axis, they have laid out the key areas of organization and personnel, land, urban construction and environmental protection, and then extended to law enforcement departments such as government and safety supervision. They use realism to show unforgettable scenes and record vivid stories that make people think deeply and feel deeply.
The novel describes the experiences of three classmates growing up through three different paths in the workplace. One of them actually directed and acted in a "kidnapping" farce in order to become an official, and attached himself to the secretary of the county party committee. From then on, his official career was smooth, but he was eventually arrested;
All these stories reveal the truth that administration according to law is a historic and inevitable choice for our country, both for the construction of party style and clean government and the construction of government effectiveness.
Purpose: To give people warning and inspiration based on the current status of administrative law enforcement at the grassroots level.
