Jiang Zhile comes from a small southern town. When he was in junior high school, his parents died in a car accident. His grandfather also died in grief. The family of five was left with him and his grandmother. The hardships of life did not destroy Jiang Zhile, but made him more resilient and kind. He studied hard and was admitted to P University. He met good friends on campus, but he could not get along with Chiwu, his roommate. Even though they seemed to be getting along with each other, Jiang Zhile was quietly attracted to him. Chiwu was domineering, black-faced, and had a bad temper; Chiwu was childish and warm, which made his heart flutter.
