Tu Mengzhi, the legitimate daughter of the Tu family, was left in an old house in the south of the Yangtze River by her family because of her frailty since she was a child. She was withdrawn and lonely. Later, Tu's father brought a boy she had never seen before and told her that this was her brother who died four years ago.
She did her best to take care of the boy until he was eleven years old.
But he killed her father many years after she got married, delayed her husband, whom she respected as a guest, and forced her to drink abortion pills.
He hugged her into his arms wordlessly, lowered his head and only whispered a word in her ear.
"Look at you, you've lost weight."
