The American Psychiatric Dictionary defines multiple personality as follows: "A person with two or more relatively unique and mutually separated sub-personalities is called multiple personality. It is a hysterical dissociative psychological disorder."
I only learned about this when I became a medical student, and I also learned that I actually had a mental disorder, but it might just be a "sub-multiple personality state" or a "multiple personality tendency", and it should not be a multiple personality.
