Lu Yunying, a twenty-five-year-old modern drama-loving girl, traveled back in time to the Qianlong period by chance and became the eighteen-year-old daughter of the head of the Lu clan of Thirteen Villages in Miao territory. She was guided by her consciousness to find Miao Renfeng. She originally wanted to rely on modern memory to help Miao Renfeng avoid disaster, but unexpectedly suffered various backlashes. She Niu Lu Yunying and She Xin Miao Renfeng have very different personalities. They fall in love and kill each other. They go through life and death again and again to uncover the unknown truth behind many rivers and lakes. They face the triple test of family, friendship and love. After going through all kinds of hardships, they finally join hands and compose a legendary story of the two heroes in the rivers and lakes.
