Chenque imagined a lover for herself: Su Zhou. But she also questioned Su Zhou's existence, so she killed Su Zhou. But Chenque is Su Zhou's "imagined" lover. Chenque couldn't stand Su Zhou being in love with his imaginary self, so he killed Su Zhou. But in Su Zhou's understanding, he was Chenque's imagination, and the Chenque created in his heart killed him.
