When she was in high school, Tao Yin was taken back to Jiacheng by her remarried mother and began the two years she wanted to escape the most.
Especially to escape from Jing Sheng, that unruly young man.
God's failure
Because of a school violence caused by her difficult sister, Tao Yin had to transfer to the private high school where Jing Sheng was studying, and sadly became his front and back desk.
She had no choice but to compromise with him: "Jing Sheng, let's get along well during this time. Can you let me finish the college entrance examination?"
He half-raised his eyelids and shrugged nonchalantly: "Okay."
So that year, she silently watched him spend his youth cynically, watching him curl his lips and refuse the girls who confessed to him.
He also watched him protect himself behind him, blocking a group of former classmates who came to the school gate to look for trouble.
He protected her throughout high school.
Later, the countdown to the college entrance examination really came. In a truth or dare, Jing Sheng asked her which city's university she would apply to in the future.
Tao Yin answered truthfully: "It's far away from here."
Jing Sheng chuckled casually: "Okay."
Gantang University is thousands of miles away from Jiacheng, and Tao Yin really hasn't come back.
Jing Sheng was never heard from again and all contact with him was completely severed.
She never knew that Jing Sheng had traveled across half of the country to visit her.
Reunited after a long absence six years later, Tao Yin stood in front of him and asked: "Would you chase me again?"
Jing Sheng said: "Okay"
