Emerging designer Song Nanyi stunned the industry with a series of works called "Eyes Under City Neon". The pupils in her paintings always have a broken and fiery beauty, but few people know that this stems from her hidden visual disorder of being sensitive to light and shadow since she was a child. A sudden loss of vision forced her to open the door of the ophthalmology clinic of the No. 1 City Hospital and met doctor Lin Zhi.
Lin Zhi is a well-known corneal expert in the industry. Her white coat makes her look as cold as frost. During the consultation, her tone is calm and her movements of fingertip examination instruments are precise and gentle. She saw through Su Wan's deliberate disguise of normalcy to hide her illness at a glance, and also captured the flow of colors in her eyes that were rarely seen by ordinary people - that was the source of her design inspiration and also a hidden danger to her visual health.
During the treatment, Song Nanyi's design draft was accidentally seen by Lin Zhi. She silently pointed out the proportion errors in the drawings caused by vision deviation. However, when she fell into a creative bottleneck, she handed over notes marked "Pupillary Change Data under Different Lights", which became her most special "inspiration library". When Song Nanyi's new series was exhibited under the title "Pupillary·Healing", the pair of warm eyes in the main visual were based on the way Lin Zhi lowered her head to check the medical record and the shadow of the light fell on her eyes. And in the drawer of Lin Zhi's desk, there is also a sketch she drew by herself, when she was focusing on the operation. In the corner of the sketch, it is written: "Thank you for letting me see the world and you more clearly."
