This is probably the first suspense novel I've ever written and one that has a good ending. I personally like to watch Whodunnit (such as those written by Agatha Christie before World War II, just like watching period dramas, the pictures and costumes must be beautiful, and they have a realistic and bloody feel. I don't like those like A-Day-in-the-Life Thank you very much), but I have a bad habit when watching them. I always read the first three or four chapters first to get a rough outline of the characters and plot, and then jump directly to the back to check out the finale. I had to know who did it first, otherwise I would feel so confused that I couldn't stand it! Once I knew the ending, I went back to Chapters 3 and 4 and read it slowly, adding my own narration as I read: 'Yo! You guy, I know you did it! Yes You, stop pretending!' It's boring, right? It's the same with watching suspense movies, I have to know the ending in advance, otherwise I won't have to talk about it. So it's great to be able to download movies online now. I can look up relevant information on the Internet while watching, especially those bad movies. It's really satisfying to be able to immediately read the harsh comments from film critics or to know that the movie was not successful at the box office when it was released in the United States! Instant gratification, NOW!
