"Back to the Northeast" is a memoir of sorts from my childhood to the present day.
It's strange that the faces of those unimportant people you thought were around you in your childhood have all faded away.
But when I was writing, it was like traveling through time and space and returning to my childhood. The neighbor was wearing cotton slippers and smoking a cigarette. When he met someone, he fumbled in his trouser pocket and took out a deflated cigarette case. Even a wrinkle was so clear in his memory.
"Back to the Northeast" describes a group of ordinary people who are no longer ordinary. Some of their prototypes have passed away, so I think if I don't record them, no one will remember them.
They were like a gust of wind blowing through the black soil in the northeast. Some sprouted a grass, some blossomed into a flower, some grew into a big tree, and some fell into the soil without even a trace.
In fact, when I reached my age, after my former self-righteousness was gone, my feet fell back to the ground, and I realized that I was no different from them.
In the process of writing the article, I cried uncontrollably many times. The pain and helplessness of the adult world that I could not understand when I was a child can now completely resonate with me.
I thought I would like the version of myself I wrote, but I found out that I didn't. The one I liked the most turned out to be the old bachelor who I despised the most when I was a child.
He is at the bottom of the town's contempt chain, but no matter how bad his life is, he can laugh through the mud until the betrayal of love...
How many people can live a pure life like this?
[First half] The human part is mainly composed of portraits of villagers from the fourth and fifth teams of Heijin Town.
Jin Qiu's father, Jin Guangyao, rode the wave of reform and opening up and transformed from a farmer to a shoe factory owner;
Jinqiu's neighbor Geng Changfu - the first to become a household worth ten thousand yuan in the village, and then fell into huge debt and became impoverished;
Geng Changfu's wife Xiuya - neglected by her husband, transformed from a good family woman to a woman who eloped with a young electrician;
Geng Changfu's daughter Baoxiang - due to lack of maternal love, she dropped out of school early, became pregnant out of wedlock and was abandoned, and attempted suicide;
Dancers and immortals...
Old bachelor and scoundrel...
Jin family, Bai family...
Everyone's life is a drama, and they perform it enthusiastically on the black earth. If you happen to see something called "life" in someone, that is my greatest comfort.
[The second half] is mainly about the two female protagonists Jin Qiu and Liu Yuanyuan, and the first half has been interspersed.
Liu Yuanyuan is a transfer student who transferred from other places at the end of last year's semester.
She also looks like Jin Qiu, with a lotus leaf hairdo. Her first impression on Jin Qiu is the word "mature".
The first time the two of them spoke was during a fight.
…
Some people say that they are twins, conjoined twins. Liu Yuanyuan said that they are clay figures blown out by Nuwa in one breath, and their souls were split into two.
Intention: Why do I always have tears in my eyes? It's because I love this black land deeply.
