The candle under the bright mirror finally burned out the last ray of light, and the hall was as silent as water. I turned my head and looked out the window. The curtain that had covered the sky for several hours slowly faded away. The pale daylight dyed the endless horizon, and a touch of blue fell suddenly rose. There is only a thin ray of light, still with the first light gray and the coldness of the night, spread out on the long red sandalwood table, hazy and sad.
