Female protagonist's perspective:
The first time we met, at the ancient temple, I watched him sweep the floor and didn't dare to go there. One glance is enough. The second time we met, we were classmates in the classroom. I thanked Bodhisattva and Buddha for bringing me to me. Then I must cherish this fate. Although the joys and sorrows I experienced later made me hesitate briefly, wasn't this the test given to us by God? This fate must have been obtained by me kneeling in front of the Buddha and begging hard in my previous life. The hardships are my "loss" and our fate is my "gain".
Male protagonist's perspective:
Before meeting her, I thought I was not a good person, but I had not done anything bad. Without that string of prayer beads and my uncle, I might have settled accounts with that person long ago, and I might not be alive anymore, and I wouldn't be able to see her, and I wouldn't be able to enjoy that warmth. From then on, she was the bead that suppressed my violent elements. I couldn't leave her, and I had to protect her.
Intention: Only by believing in yourself and loving yourself can you love the people you love well.
