It was late at night and all the lights were out in the surrounding houses. Only one house had a light on in the attic.
"Oh, please keep your voice down, don't wake mom up." Lin Ke said in a low voice.
"Oh, brother. If you don't sleep at night, what are you doing up in the attic?"
Lin Ke said as he turned the page: "You didn't know... I found it."
"What?" Lin Wei came over.

This diary belongs to their father.
Their mother never let them know about their father, so they had to go to the attic in the dark to find their father's things.
