In the splendid palace, the crystal chandeliers were emitting an intoxicating light, making the guests squint their eyes and feel dazed for a while. However, the next second, they continued to drink and mingled...
The lively atmosphere in the palace obviously did not affect an old man. He quietly sat in a quiet corner, sipping a glass of amber-colored champagne from a goblet. He said nothing and looked a little confused.
A general smelling of alcohol and with a medal on his chest indicating his outstanding military exploits drunkenly squeezed through the crowd and came to the old man's corner. He looked at the old man with a look of admiration and envy:
