Shen Yi and Jiang Yan grew up in the same courtyard. The two have been extremely close since they were young, and they do almost everything together:
Climbing a tree, and then throwing a bruise on one's legs together; catching crickets, and then healing the crickets' wounds together; poking into a hornet's nest, and then being stung together; secretly picking strawberries from the host family in the courtyard to eat, and then being beaten together by both sexes by their parents; skipping class, and then being punished to stand on the wall to write a self-criticism together...
When the two of them grew up, everything changed. The only thing that remained unchanged was,
They're still good enough to wear a pair of pants.
For these, the big guys in a large courtyard have long been used to it.
"The day these two kids stop sticking together is when they really see a ghost."
Even Shen's mother joked:
"You two little guys, I'm afraid you won't even get married together in the future!"
So one morning several years later,
Shen Yi took Jiang Yan's hand and knocked on his door.
Purpose: Accompany each other. Grow together.
