Abe Seimei was a member of the Yinyou family of Japan's Heian period. He was born in the 21st year of Enki (921) and died in the 2nd year of Kanhiro (1005). There are countless legends circulating to this day. What I'm talking about here is the story of him before he became the "Rare Onmyoji".
AD 927 was the second year of Tiancheng's reign in the Later Tang Dynasty in China; it was extended by five years in Japan. The just-completed Heian Era code "Enki Shiki" stipulated in the Ministry of Finance's "Onmyoji" that the envoys sent to the Tang Dynasty must be accompanied by onmyoji on board the ship.
