Through the personal experience of a community secretary, the article truly records that the once prosperous Aluminum Home Community was deeply troubled by coal mining and environmental pollution, and its living environment became increasingly poor, even to the point of being uninhabitable. On the 30th anniversary after the earthquake, the municipal government took the coal mining subsidence comprehensive management project and the renovation of dilapidated bungalows as an opportunity to completely solve the housing problem of residents through overall off-site resettlement. While truthfully describing how neighborhood committee cadres have won the hearts and minds of the masses through their hard work, it also objectively and truly reflects the negative impact that a very few corrupt elements have had on street and community work. Now, the construction of Dadong Lake has set foot on the place where the residents once lived and multiplied. The empty ruins have diluted everything in the past, but the memory of the past cannot be erased.
