He was too powerful for the creation gods to successfully kill him.
The gods were very distressed, so the Book of Creation asked:
[Did you give him the characteristics of a demon king? ]
"Of course, he is rational, strong, ferocious, not afraid of failure and invincible."
[Did you give him a miserable childhood? ]
"Yes, it's tragic enough for him to become the devil."
[Did you give him a humble birth? ]
"How could I forget that what he hates most is the knight who represents the light."

So on an ordinary day, time and space suddenly distorted in front of Ulysses, and then he saw his miserable childhood self.

No one knows that Fei's greatest wish is to become a knight representing the light.
Fiji's perspective:
It was an ordinary day. I was competing with wild dogs for food. A man shrouded in darkness fell from the sky and picked me up. The wild dogs were afraid of him, but I liked him. There was an indescribable familiar warmth about him.
Ulysses' perspective:
After becoming the Demon King, I waited every day for the king to select the best knight to defeat me, but they were all too weak. How could such a person become a paladin who defeated the Demon King, so I kept this honor for myself.
