Xiwang, a stray dog, started his wandering life after being abandoned by his owner. He encountered bad people who wanted to capture him, and kind people who gave him food and water. He was also maliciously hurt by people, had a brief warmth, and experienced severe cold and heat. He saw many friends being adopted and living happily, and many of them died on the road or in dog meat restaurants.
Xiwang is both unfortunate and lucky. Along the way, it met many friends and listened to each of them telling their own stories. Xiwang continued to wander, hoping to find his own home and his own master.
