"Oh." Qi responded vaguely and rubbed his sore neck. His mother's thigh was getting thinner and thinner, and her pillow on it was like a stone.
That year Qi was thirteen years old.
For as long as he can remember, his mother has said this sentence no less than ten times a day. It means nothing to him, just like his mother saying "the weather is very good today." Or "pork is more delicious roasted."
So the first words Qi Qi spoke were not "Mom" or "Grandma", but "Your father is a bastard."
