I also don't know where the inspiration for this story came from.
It seems to be a matter of course and a very satisfying thing that evil will be punished.
But that's not how this story ends.
If evil deeds were forgiven, would everyone accept it?
If something similar happened to them, how many people would be able to accept Sarah again?
