In the past seven years, I have often thought of you, followed you silently on social media, watched you graduate with a master's degree and a doctorate, and watched you go to a better place to do a postdoc. Many times I wonder, if you had given me a little hope at that time, would I have gone to Canada, would I have gone to study for a Ph. D., Would we have been married, would we have saved up money to buy a small apartment, and would we have raised a kitten together. Thinking of this, I am really sad, because I don't even know whether you like kittens or not.
