The master takes his disciple down the mountain to practice. When he encounters a fox demon, the relationship between the two of them in the previous life is revealed, but the disciple does not remember it. The master is heartbroken as he waits for his ascension to become a Buddha. At the last moment, the disciple is stopped by a thunderbolt, and the disciple wakes up. The two finally achieve enlightenment.
