When I watched "Scholar Who Walks the Night", what impressed me the most was the pairing of Ghost and Hui Ling. The relationship between the two of them was described very vaguely in the TV series. Maybe it was because their ending in the TV series was not good, but it left a deep impression on people and will never be forgotten. This fanfic was written to make up for this regret.
Gui has never been truly loved by anyone in his life. Humans always fear him and take advantage of him. His heart is desolate. He does not believe in other people's feelings, let alone that he will have feelings for others. It was not until Huiling died that Gui realized that he had feelings for Huiling and was reluctant to let go, but he had no chance.
Huiling has lived with ghosts since she was 10 years old. She grew from an ignorant child to a real woman by the ghosts' side. You can imagine who Huiling would be attracted to when she had the consciousness of love, and she avoided the underground palace for 4 years because of some illness. Huiling was unable to reveal her true feelings to ghosts until her death.
If Huiling is reborn with the memories of her previous death, and knows the ghost's feelings for her and how the ghost died, then what will happen to Huiling and the ghost after rebirth.
Purpose: I hope that after Huiling is reborn with her memories, she can redeem the ghosts and make the ghosts believe that human beings have a beautiful side, and the two of them can live a happy life.
