Lu Jingyu stared closely at Xiao Zhaojun, who was biting her with all his strength, and laughed with red eyes. Later, every time Lu Jingyu missed her, he would look at the faded scars and use a knife to carve them along the bite marks over and over again. Finally, when Lu Jingyu led his troops to the south, he met an ancient tribe deep in the mountains. He heard that the tribe's coming-of-age ritual required wizards to carve different totems on young men and women who were over eighteen years old. Lu Jingyu asked someone to find a wizard in the village, and drew the Zhaoxi flower he had seen when he was eight years old from memory.
