At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Jin invaded. During the Jingkang Rebellion, Huizong and Qinzong were captured, and the Central Plains were devastated. Although Zhao Gou later ascended the throne in Yingtian Mansion in Nanjing, named Gaozong, and established the Southern Song Dynasty, the situation in which the Jin Dynasty was strong and the Song Dynasty was weak could not be changed in the short term. The Jin soldiers continued to invade south, and Song Gaozong had to lead his officials to flee south to Yuezhou (today's Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province), and then to Mingzhou (today's Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province). From Mingzhou to Dinghai (today's Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province), they drifted on the sea and fled to Wenzhou. It was not until the Jin soldiers withdrew from the south of the Yangtze River that Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty gained temporary stability and established his capital in Lin'an (today's Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province). War troubles arose, and the country was in panic. To avoid the chaos of war, people moved south one after another. People living in exile are all over Jianghuai, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Lianghu, Fujian and Guangzhou. Among them, the Hakka people were the ethnic group that suffered the most at that time. They migrated in different directions, traveled across mountains and rivers, and moved around many times, living in other towns and foreign lands in search of a place to stay. They suffered all kinds of hardships and hardships on the way, perhaps beyond imagination. However, no matter what the circumstances, their Hakka pronunciation did not change, and their good nature remained unchanged, which will be admired by future generations.
Intention: How the Hakka people maintained their true nature during the war
