Introduction to the work
"Exploring Qingshui River" is a narrative song popular in Huoqiying Village, Haidian District, Beijing. It tells the story of a love tragedy similar to a peacock flying southeast that happened in Huoqiying Village in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. The protagonists of the story are Song Laosan's daughter Da Lian and Tong Xiaoliu from the firearms camp. That's right, it's the story of "Exploring Qingshui River" sung by Brother Braid.
Author's statement
"Exploring Qingshui River" is a very famous folk ditty, which later became popular due to the Deyun Society. When I first heard this little song, I had the idea of creating it. I feel like this story should be enriched.
Intention: Asking what love is in the world, it makes people agree in life and death.
