He is an original character and his identity is Xie Lian's younger brother.
The whole story is probably just a plot to gather CP, and the younger brother will arrange a golden finger (otherwise, how can I protect my older brother!)
I felt this because I saw that Lian Lian was having such a hard time and hoped that he still had a relative who could accompany him.
