Regulus Altulus Black (1960-1979), the last male heir of the ancient Black family, was a recipient of the First Class Order of Merlin. Proficient in potions, transfiguration and alchemy, he served as the Seeker of the Slytherin team for six consecutive years. When he became an adult, he followed his family's wishes and became a Death Eater.
After the Wizarding War, the savior Harry Potter rectified his name, pointing out that Regulus was a secret member of the Order of the Phoenix and had provided intelligence to the Order for two years. His love for Rose Elaine defeated the Death Curse, and together they found and destroyed Voldemort's first Horcrux, and sacrificed their lives for it. Together with Severus Snape, he was called "the bravest man" by the Savior.
