Taizong of the Qing Dynasty, from the Aixinjueluo clan of Manchuria, named Huang Taiji, the eighth son of Taizu Nurhachi, and the second generation monarch of the Later Jin Dynasty. In April of the tenth year (AD 1630), he ascended the throne of the emperor in present-day Shenyang, founded the country under the name of Qing Dynasty, and changed his name to Chongde in Yuan Dynasty.

It was enforced to shave their hair and change clothes, and half of the hair that had been kept for hundreds of years was suddenly lost.
