This article is based on history and tells the story thirty years after the founding of the British Dynasty. During the 20 years of Ying'an's reign, the founding emperor of the British Dynasty, in order to strengthen the centralization of power, killed 99% of the founding officials, and more than 40,000 people were implicated. Qi Zhong, one of the heroes, was accused of treason by Ying'an. Qi Zhong's seven-year-old daughter Qi Le'an luckily escaped pursuit and later joined the killer organization Cangyu Pavilion under the alias Bai Yu. As Bai Yu grew up, he saw all the cruel methods Ying An used to concentrate power in the hands of himself and his descendants, and the idea of destroying the emperor's one-man power gradually came into his mind. After Ying'an's death, his second son Yingdi succeeded to the throne and placed more trust in the eunuchs and Jin Yiwei. As a result, the power of these two institutions expanded day by day, influencing tax laws and criminal and civil cases, and indiscriminate torture, making the people miserable. While Bai Yu was in the Cangyu Pavilion, he tried his best to rescue the innocent people killed by Ying'an. This move was supported by her leader Shen Yufei. The two of them rescued more than 300 people from the butcher's knife of Ying An and Ying Di. They reached an agreement with the declining Cangyu Pavilion and established Hou Jiayin, an organization for buying and selling information, and thus began the road to overthrow the imperial power.
Concept: Under the emperor's whip and staff, everyone is a slave. Whether civilians live well or not depends not on the upper limit of power, but on the bottom line of the rules.
