Twenty years ago, or maybe more, my uncle and aunt adopted a child. I didn't have a very good impression of him, because every time he came to my house, I didn't feel well.
He would pull at my rubber bands, lift up my skirt, and tug at the straps of my underwear hidden under my shirt. Or he would climb up the bayberry tree in the yard and peek at me changing clothes in the bedroom.
Anyway, I've never seen him calm.
Later, I heard that he ran away from home because of an attempted rape. I didn't know the details of the matter. I only knew that he became a gossip among neighbors after dinner and became a little devil in the eyes of adults.
I never expected that the destinies of two people who seemed to be on parallel lines would be unknowingly intertwined, bound to each other, and redeemed each other.
He is my heart that makes me live and that makes me die.
Intention: People should look forward
