Qi Zhu is a bamboo spirit that has just transformed. Before the fairy's last thunder disaster comes, he is weak and feels that he should find a powerful foreign aid for himself, so he targets Fu Nanyu, the richest man in the city.
Fu Nanyu has always been a staunch materialist, until one day, he saw with his own eyes that the young man he liked turned into... A bamboo in front of him, and his materialism collapsed from then on.
In a later interview with a reporter, Fu Nanyu was asked what his greatest pleasure was in daily life. He only heard Fu Nanyu say slowly but seriously: "Raising bamboo."
